Procedure:
PLAINS:
PLAINS is a large area of level or nearly level land. It is very easy to grow crops on plains.The largest lowland in the country is in Central plain of Luzon.The soil in this plain is very fertile.Most of the land is planted with Palay .
VALLEYS:
VALLEYS A long, narrow region of low land between ranges of mountains, hills, or other high areas, often having a river or stream running along the bottom. Valleys are most commonly formed through the erosion of land by rivers or glaciers. They also form where large regions of landare lowered because of geological faults.Example of this is the Cagayan Valley.
PLATEAUS:
PLATEAUS An elevated, comparatively level expanse of land. Plateaus make up about 45 percent of the Earth's land surface.Example is Mindanao.
MOUNTAINS:
MOUNTAIN is a large land form that stretches above the surrounding land in a limited area, usually in the form of a peak. A mountain is generally steeper than a hill. Mountains are formed through tectonic forces or volcanism. The Philippines is generally mountainous. We have mountains in different parts of the country. Mt. Apo in Mindanao which have seen now in the picture. It is found in Davao. Mt.Pulog in Ifugao, Mt.Province in Luzon is the second highest mountain in the country. Other known mountains that can be found in our country are: Mt.Banahaw in between Laguna and Quezon; Mt.Baco in Occidental Mindoro; M.Halcon in Oriental Mindoro; Mt.Kanlaon in Negros Occidental; and Mt.Bulusan in Sorsogon. These mountains attract many people from several parts of the world.
HILLS:
HILLS A hill has a height of not more than 152 metres above sea level. It is lower than a mountain.Chocolate Hills is the famous example of hills in the Philippines.
EVALUATION:
Give examples of each different Land forms.
Enumerate the different Land forms in the Philippines.
